A warm welcome at Holly Trees
Gareth, David, and Paula were incredibly accommodating, providing insightful tips on local attractions. The breakfast spread was hearty with great variety, perfect for fueling a day of exploring.
Parking nearby was a challenge, as the property doesn't offer dedicated spots, requiring some patience to find a place to leave the car.

The location is perfect for exploring, just a
short walk to the harbor and town amenities. The owner was incredibly knowledgeable about local attractions and made us feel at home. The only drawback was the thin walls, which made it easy to hear our neighbors early in the morning.

The Deluxe Double Room was spacious, making it a comfortable spot to relax after a day out. The fun challenge of showering sideways in the smaller cubicle added a bit of humor to our stay, and the ability to use a fan to cool down the room at night was a nice touch.
We found the fridge needed some serious cleaning—definitely not ideal for storing snacks. Breakfast hours were a strict 8-9 AM, which squashed any chance for a sleep-in. The bacon muffin didn't quite cut it with just three small slices of bacon, and a brighter breakfast menu, especially for vegetarians, would have been appreciated. the garden could use some weeding and a fresh coat of paint on the fence to spruce things up a bit.

The breakfast pastries were fresh and delightful, adding a nice touch to the morning. the fridge in the room had cleanliness issues, and many furnishings showed signs of neglect, including stains on fabric and moldy items. The room was slightly cramped, yet it had a pleasant view and good lighting. More attention to maintenance and an improved vegetarian breakfast menu would significantly enhance the overall experience.
